Signs: thickening of the nail, brownish/yellowish discolouration of the nail, brittle/crumbling nail(s).

Treat both systemically and topically. There is frequently a need to improve the body's overall level of protective bacteria.

For topical treatment: blend one part tea tree oil into four parts castor oil and apply to cover the nail and the surrounding nail bed once daily after bathing. For best results, apply liberally at bedtime and wrap with gauze; wash in morning and re-apply lightly.

Use a topical treatment for minimum of 6 months to kill all the spores and completely destroy the fungus while the nail regenerates.

Note: If sensitive to tea tree oil, dilute one part oregano oil in four parts castor oil.

Eyelid Cysts

The eyes are perhaps one of the most sensitive areas of the human body. An eyelid cyst may be both painful and awkward.

Placing a drop of Palma Christi castor oil in the affected eye(s) at bedtime will allow prolonged treatment during the night. Repeat this treatment every night until cyst is gone.

Different types of eyelid cysts:

A sty or abscess at the oil gland is one of the most common types of eyelid cysts. The infection causes the eyelid cyst to become red, swollen and tender. A sty usually lasts between 24-72 hours and drain away naturally. An eyelid cyst that persists longer than this period is probably not a sty.

A meibomian cyst or chalazion is a lump on the eyelid that is caused by debris left after an infection.

Sweat gland cysts are common and appear as round, shiny and transparent lumps near the tear ducts.

Keratosis is a combination of keratin and tissue that may be found in various forms.

A white painless swelling on the eyelid may be an inclusion cyst and usually harmless.

Nevus is a flesh colored growth in the eyelid.
