Post-Radiation Therapy with Castor Oil

Category: Applications

A successful treatment for post-radiation care is a combination of castor oil and green clay. Our Palm'Argile, a ready-to-use clay pack, is such a preparation.

An association of naturopaths (working with Dr. Dickson Thom) in the state of Oregon have been working with this blend and shared with us their excellent results:

As soon as you get home, shower and wash the irradiated zone with lukewarm water and soap for 5 minutes. Then lie down and put on clay poultice that will extend well beyond the area of irradiation, leaving it there for an hour and a half. Afterward, take another shower, washing the same area with water. You may then apply castor oil directly on the skin.

Palma Christi l'Originelle castor oil is of the highest quality and Palma Christi Gold is certified organic. Palm'Argile is a blend of Palma Christi l'Originelle, green clay, and healing essential oils. This ready-to-use therapeutic blend is most conveneint to use.

Acne & Liver Relationship

Castor oil pack therapy will benefit those with Acne.

Recognizing that the skin is an excretory organ, when the liver is overloaded the toxins may have nowhere to go; in many cases they are forced to emerge from the only other possible exit ... the pores of the skin.

The relationship between a sluggish liver and acne is not new, however. Other treatments recognize the effect of a congested liver on the condition/health of the skin, including herbs that act on the liver.

Due to its role as a liver and gallbladder detoxifier, as well as a diuretic, dandelion root is also recommended for skin disorders. Dandelion root increases the secretion of bile and promotes cleansing of the liver, improves appetite, digestion, and elimination of wastes. Herbalist Michael Tierra refers to this herb as, “one of the most wonderful liver tonics of all.”
