A castor oil bach provides excellent and rapid relief of acute abdominal pain associated with many illnesses, including intestinal flu. It also is beneficial for rapid recovery from viral infections and in the case of hyperactivity and sleeping dissorders.

Castor Oil Bath

Fill the tub with comfortably warm water. Step in (remain standing and dry) then rub pure castor oil over the entire body (4 - 8 oz.). Be seated in the water-filled tub and soak for 20 to 30 minutes.

There are 2 choices for the next step.

1) Carefully step out onto a towel and allow most of the excess moisture to evaporate off the skin. Put on a pair of flannel or 100% cotton pyjamas and go to bed.

2) Using a mild liquid soap or a Ghassoul paste, wash the body gently. It is fine to have some oil cling to the skin as it will hydrate and continue to nourish the body through the skin. Towel dry lightly. Go to bed.

A cataract is a pathological condition that affects the lens of the eyes and causes unclear vision. A cataract forms when the lens becomes opaque and whitish and will hinder the entry of light to the eye. Cataract develops due to the deposition of salts and acids between lens fibers, deterioration in the nutrition of the lens, and also due to the disintegration of the lens fibers. Some factors that contribute to the cataract are excessive usage of alcohol, smoking, salt, sugar, vitamin deficiencies, diseases like diabetes, gall bladder disturbances, gastrointestinal problems, etc.

Place a drop of organic cold pressed castor oil placed in the affected eye(s) before bedtime, every night. This is particularly effective at the onset of cataracts and may take many weeks of application for existing condition.

Gout Treatment

Gout, particularly chronic gout, needs to be treated aggressively because of its potentially damaging effects on the kidneys and joints.

It is important to stay well-hydrated in order to prevent attacks of gout. This will prevent the uric acid from becoming too concentrated and inhibit uric acid crystallization. Uric acid crystallizes and forms stones in an acidic environment. One way to prevent this is by alkalinizing the urine or making it more basic.

Lemon juice stimulates the formation of calcium carbonate, which neutralizes acids like uric acid. Therefore, drinking freshly squeezed lemon in a glass of water after meals can prevent a gouty attack. Baking soda can also help alkalinize the urine.

Apple cider vinegar is an old time remedy still favored by many. Add some rose hips to vinegar and boil; dab on affected area. You may need to apply this mixture several times a day for a few weeks. The vinegar changes the blood pH so that the crystals will go into solution and be excreted.

• Mix two teaspoons each of apple cider vinegar and raw honey in a glass of water and drink at mealtime.

• Soak the foot in a mixture of ½ cup of the vinegar and three cups of hot water. Dry area well and apply a castor oil pack for 90 minutes, twice per day.

Hydrotherapy & Castor Oil

Including castor oil is an excellent complement to your Colonic Hydrotherapy. Massage a therapeutic grade castor oil into the abdomen and apply moist heat. This therapy stimutates the bowel to release more fecal matter during your regular colonic treatment and will halt any possible cramping.

The use of a Castor Oil Pack in preparation of the colon hydrotherapy session is beneficial to soften and loosen impacted colon matter and gases. The client may apply a castor oil pack for 2 hours, with moist heat. The Castor Oil penetrates into the intestines and softens encrusted fecal matter, loosening it from within the pockets of the colon. This helps the removal of the encrusted matter during the next colonic irrigation session.
